Step 1: Skill Acquisition
The MMA 101 classes are held five days a week, each lasting one hour. The classes cover three disciplines—grappling, striking, and takedowns—taught on separate days. Techniques are presented in clear, manageable segments to ensure students understand them easily. To track attendance, every student is issued a tracking card for the duration of the nine-month curriculum.
Step 2: Refining Skills
After completing 12 classes, students are invited to join the progressive drilling classes. These sessions aim to help students develop the right techniques for live sparring and grappling through repetitive practice with varying resistance and scenarios. This approach builds muscle memory and automatic responses.
Step 3: Supervised Sparring
Once students have honed their skills, they will be invited to participate in sparring classes. Here, they will pair up with suitable training partners to engage in various MMA scenarios, including shoot boxing, wall grappling, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and ground grappling with strikes. An instructor will supervise and adjust the session intensity to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
